Making Eggs

Looking at hookworm eggs, I could see how they are structured. The eggs appear to be made in clusters surrounded by some kind of transparent shell.
To make the, two polygons were used, one for the inside and the other for the outer shell.
After making the shell slightly transparent, I could now see what the inside looked and how the whole egg appeared. For the inside I used a phong texture so there was a slight sheen to the surface, catching the light. The outer shell is a lambert, which is a matte texture, giving the effect that inside was encased.
